• Morinda citrifolia (Noni) Fruit Powder 450mg
• Aloe vera Powder 50mg

Active Constituents

The most important active principle in noni fruit is proxeronine, converted to xeronine in the body. Xeronine (first discovered by Dr. Ralph Heinicke in 1972 at the University of Hawaii) is a hormone that exhibits positive effects on proteins and cells, resulting in improved wellbeing.

Pharmacokinetics

Proxeronine releases pure xeronine in the intestine when it contacts proxeronase (an enzyme also found in noni fruit). Proxeronine is also converted to xeronine elsewhere in the body by proxeronase — an enzyme needed in the biosynthesis of xeronine and serotonin.

Dosage

Precautions & Caution

• Rich source of potassium — do not use in renal insufficiency (risk of hyperkalemia)
• Do not take with tea, coffee or alcohol as these destroy proxeronine
• Omit 2 weeks before any surgical procedure including dental extraction due to antiplatelet action
