Each capsule contains Mycelial Extract of Cordyceps sinensis 400mg.

Pharmacological Actions

1. Effect on Immune System

Cordyceps extract increases the number of T-helper cells and the ratio of T-helper to T-suppressor cells. It is a bidirectional immune modulator with both potentiating and suppressive effects, regulating innate and adaptive immunity. Cordycepin and beta-glucan compounds improve anti-tumor immune response by recruiting tumor-killing granulocytes.

2. Effect on Respiratory Health

Chinese medicine has characterized Cordyceps as a guardian of respiratory health for over a thousand years. It inhibits tracheal contractions (especially important in asthma patients), allowing increased airflow to the lungs. Its anti-inflammatory properties also relieve asthma symptoms.

3. Effect on Renal Functions

Clinical trials in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients show Cordyceps improves renal functions by decreasing Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine, and also corrects anaemia of renal origin.
