Pharmacological Actions

Herbicough® combines mucolytic and expectorant herbs to help reduce mucus viscosity in the bronchial tract, facilitating expectoration. Volatile oils help form a protective layer over the pharynx, larynx and trachea to relieve mechanical irritation. The formula also contains herbs traditionally used for antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, bronchodilating, antipyretic and anti-allergic support.

Indications

Symptomatic relief of various kinds of cough.

Dosage

• 2–12 years — 5ml
• 12 years and above — 15ml four times daily
