Each capsule contains Rose Hip (Rosa canina) Extract 250mg.

Pharmacological Actions

Rose hip extract contains polyphenols and triterpenoids that help relieve joint inflammation and reduce joint damage. Anti-inflammatory action is also attributed to high quantities of galactolipid. Shown to be chondroprotective and regenerative when tested on human chondrocytes.

Rose hip and its constituents attenuate inflammatory response in macrophages, PBLs and chondrocytes. Down-regulates catabolic processes associated with osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA), providing cartilage protection.

Evidence-based research shows significant reduction in pain after 3 weeks and significant reduction in disability, stiffness and disease severity after 3 months of treatment for osteoarthritis of the hip or knee.
