1. Prevention & Treatment of Prostate Tumour

Among 72 international studies, 57 reported inverse associations between tomato intake or blood lycopene levels and cancer risk. Lycopene is beneficial for prostatic tumour through potent antioxidant action, inhibitory effect on cell proliferation induced by insulin-like growth factors, and ability to increase intercellular gap-junctional communication.

2. Boost Immunity in AIDS

Dosage

• Prevention — one tablet daily
• Treatment — one tablet two times daily
• Should be taken with hot water, plain tea or tea
• Suitable for 2 years and above

Combination Therapy

Can be taken together with Vitamin C (Nature-C®), Vitamin E, beta-carotene, selenium and Serenoa repens (SawPalmetto) for maximum benefit.

Caution

For better stability of lycopene, use within one month after opening.

Side Effects

Generally safe. High intakes may result in deep orange discoloration of the skin.
